Sharing your brand guide with your team

In this tutorial, we'll cover how to share your brand guide in Guidelines, so your team and collaborators can easily access the information they need.

Accessing Site Settings

From the editor, open in the bottom left corner. Here you can:

  • Change the site title and description.
  • Decide whether your guide should be indexed by search engines.
  • View the site's primary domain, which is the same link used when clicking .

This domain is what you'll share with others.

Sharing Options

On the free plan, you can publish your guide publicly, making it accessible to anyone with the link.

If you want more control, Guidelines provides additional options:

  • Password Protection – set a password that users must enter to view the guide.
  • Restricted Access – limit viewing to people with a free Guidelines account that you approve.

Managing Team Access

Within Team Settings, you can:

  • Add and manage who has access to your brand guide.
  • Restrict editing rights to specific collaborators.

For larger organizations, enterprise plans include Domain Grants, which automatically grant access to anyone with your company email domain—saving you from adding users one by one.

Conclusion

Sharing your brand guide in Guidelines ensures everyone working with your brand has access to the right resources. With flexible sharing and permission options, you can make your guide public, password-protected, or restricted to selected users, giving you control over how your brand is accessed.
