# Guidelines

> Guidelines is a platform for publishing brand guidelines as living websites: a collaborative editor, a managed brand asset library, and a public or access-controlled guide on your own domain.

Every brand guide published on Guidelines is a real website with its own pages, navigation, search, downloadable assets and per-locale translations. Organizations manage brands, invite editors, and control who can read each guide (public, password, or account).

Guidelines runs a remote MCP server at https://mcp.guidelines.site/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 with PKCE) that lets an agent read the brands and guides its signed-in user can access. Tools: list_brands, get_brand, search_brands, search_guidelines, get_guidelines, get_guidelines_page.

This file describes the product. To work on a particular brand, read that brand guide's own /llms.txt at its own domain instead: it lists the guide's pages and how to read them. Public, indexable guides serve one.
